![]() ![]() The deceased was a lady universally respected for her many excellent qualities of head and heart, as was shown by the large circle of sorrowing friends who attended her funeral. ![]() The orange blossoms of cupid were exchanged for the sable plumes of death, and where festivity reigned now all is mourning. ![]() Soon after the ceremony, and before the congratulations of friends had concluded, she was taken ill with her old complaint, which soon assumed an alarming character, and in spite of all that love and medical skill could suggest, the lady continued to grow worse, and on Saturday, only two days after her marriage, she breathed her last. On Thursday evening, the 19th inst., she was united in the bonds of matrimony to Mr. She was a native of Canada East, and came to this country at an early day, with her friends, for the benefit of her health, she being subject to that distressing complaint, asthma.
